We have a team of experienced musicians who teach musical theory for ages 3–5 and a beginner rock band class for ages 6–10. For private lessons, we offer piano, drums, guitar, violin/viola, voice, and ukulele.

At Musicians In Motion, creativity is never limited to certain age groups. We offer music classes from as early as 3 years of age. Our primary focus is children and kids, and we’ve built our curriculum around helping young learners fall in love with music.

Yes! We offer both private and group lessons — it all depends on your preference. Private lessons provide one-on-one focused attention, while group lessons allow kids to learn alongside peers. Note that pricing structures differ between group and private lessons.

Yes! Musicians In Motion is one of Charlotte’s premier music schools. We offer both in-home and studio lessons. We focus on the south part of Charlotte and surrounding areas, including Matthews, Weddington, Waxhaw, Indian Land, and Fort Mill.

Our teachers are masters of music with strong qualifications, creativity, and ample experience. Some have worked as music instructors for six or more years, some have performed in musical theaters and workshops, and others have graduated from prestigious music institutes.

Absolutely! You don’t need to own an instrument to get started. Just fill out the form and we’ll get you set up. We provide instrument rentals at very reasonable rates so your child can start practicing right away.
