At Musicians in Motion, lessons aren’t just about learning notes — they’re about transformation. Music builds confidence, creativity, and joy that lasts a lifetime, whether you’re a child starting fresh or an adult returning to a lifelong dream.
Every year, we review our tuition to make sure we can continue offering the very best teachers and programs. This year, we’re a little behind schedule because we wanted to finalize new family-friendly policies first. Moving forward, you can expect small, predictable adjustments of 5–10% per year.
🎹 What’s Changing & When

As of August 25, 2025, our updated tuition rates apply to all new students.

Families who enrolled before August 25, 2025 will move to the updated rates starting October 1, 2025.

If you’re on a special or customized rate, we’ll reach out directly with details of your tuition change.
💡 Plain-English summary: If you started on or after Aug 25, you’re already on the new rate — no change for you. If you started before Aug 25, your new rate begins Oct 1.

💡 Need help? If this adjustment creates a financial burden, please talk to us. We offer a limited number of scholarships for families and individuals in need, because we never want money to be the reason someone misses out on music.

That’s why this policy isn’t just a list of rules — it’s a framework designed to support families, respect teachers, and keep lessons running smoothly.
When You Need to Cancel
48+ Hours’ Notice (commitment to excellence):

Limit of 3 credits on your account at a time
Less than 48 Hours (life happens):

If it’s an emergency, call or text us for approval of a courtesy credit

Must be taken with your original teacher

When We Need to Cancel

Teachers have 60 days to make it up; after that, you may request a bill credit

Sometimes a substitute teacher may step in — each brings new energy and perspective
Other Commitments to Our Community

Health & wellness: Please stay home if you’re sick. Students who arrive sick will be asked to return home, and in these cases a courtesy credit will not be provided.

Subscription changes: To stop lessons, notify us by the 15th of the month so we can process your request.

Re-enrollment fee: $25 if you pause for a month or more and return.

Make-up lessons: Can only be used while your subscription is active. If you pause, credits may be converted to single sessions for a small fee. Regular make-up credits never expire, so you can always use them when you return.
