The Importance of Summer Lessons

Taking a break from music lessons over the summer can significantly set students back. Skills like note reading, rhythm, hand positioning, and confidence can quickly decline without consistent practice. Even a few weeks away can make it harder to pick back up in the fall. Staying enrolled keeps students moving forward, helping them retain what they’ve learned and build on their progress. A steady routine over the summer sets them up for success when the new school year begins.

 Summer Lesson Options

To make summer flexible for families, we offer three great options:

• Option A: Continue your regular weekly lesson subscription Reschedule to different days when you’re in town.
• Option B: Purchase single sessions Pay per lesson—great for unpredictable schedules (slightly higher rate per lesson).
• Option C: Pause your subscription Let us know by the 15th if you’d like to pause at the end of the month. While we can’t guarantee your spot will be held, we’ll do our best to accommodate you when you return. Tip: If you’re away for just a month, the best way to hold your spot is to continue your subscription and make up missed lessons before or after your trip.

 Important: Please let us know by the 15th of the month if you’re choosing or considering Option B or C. If we don’t hear from you, we’ll assume you’re continuing with Option A. Subscriptions renew automatically on the 1st of each month.

 Violin Fiddle Tunes Camp

Explore American, English, and Celtic fiddle music through hands-on learning and group collaboration. Students will develop techniques like shuffle bowing, chopping, syncopation, and playing by ear—plus improve music theory, ear training, and ensemble skills. No prior fiddle experience needed (violin background helpful).

• Thursdays (afternoon) and Saturdays (morning) – exact times TBD
• Choose your day and attend at least 4 sessions (come to as many as you’d like)
• $25 per session, 4 minimum
• All levels welcome

 Kidzrock & Piano Camp

Two camps in one! Students will:

• Spend 1 hour in Kidzrock, rotating between drums, keyboard, and guitar
• Spend 1 hour in group piano lessons, beginner-friendly and fun! No experience needed.
• When: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
• June through August, weekly sessions
• Cost: $185/week

 American Idol Vocal Camp

Our exciting vocal camp lets students shine like stars! Campers will build vocal technique, stage presence, and microphone skills while preparing solo and group performances. They’ll also enjoy mock auditions, coaching, and a final showcase for family and friends.

• When: June 23–27, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
• Cost: $185 Let us know if you’re interested in additional weeks—we’ll add more sessions based on demand!
