Summer snuck up on you? There’s still time to make it musical! At Musicians in Motion, our popular summer programs are back, and we’re rolling out exciting new options too. Whether you’ve been meaning to get started or just decided to jump in, now’s the perfect time to begin your musical journey. Spots are filling fast, so don’t miss out!
Violin Fiddle Tunes Camp
Explore American, English, and Celtic fiddle music through hands-on learning and group collaboration. Students will develop techniques like shuffle bowing, chopping, syncopation, and playing by ear—plus improve music theory, ear training, and ensemble skills. No prior fiddle experience needed (violin background helpful).
- Thursdays (afternoon) and Saturdays (By request) – exact times TBD
- Choose your day (come to as many as you’d like)
- $25 per session
- All skill levels and ages welcome!
Kidzrock & Piano Camp
Two camps in one! Students will:
- Spend 45 minutes in Kidzrock, rotating between drums, keyboard, and guitar
- A 15 minute snack break in between
- Spend 45 minutes in group piano lessons, beginner-friendly and fun!
- A group activity/game to end the session!
No experience needed. - When: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–12:00 PM
- Where: South Charlotte
- Weekly Sessions: June-August
- Cost: $185/week
- A $25 non-refundable deposit that will go towards the $185 tuition.
American Idol Vocal Camp
Our exciting vocal camp lets students shine like stars! Campers will build vocal technique, stage presence, and microphone skills while preparing solo and group performances. They’ll also enjoy mock auditions, coaching, and a final showcase for family and friends.
- When: July 14th-17th, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM
Cost: $185
- A $25 nonrefundable deposit that will go towards the total price of the program.
