As tempting as it may be to buy the $70 pink violin on Amazon, DON’T DO IT! Additionally, you CAN find used instruments, but before buying, please send us a link to the one you’re thinking of purchasing so that we can advise you on whether it will work. Cheaper instruments aren’t built well and are often harder to play and don’t sound very good. A well-made instrument makes a big difference! We do recommend to spend at least $300 on a starter violin. Shar Music has some great instruments starting at this price point, and their instruments are a great value. This one is great because it’s a whole outfit with everything you need.
